About the Role
G&C Plumbing & Heating of Franklin, MA is looking to hire a full-time Licensed Journeyman Plumber or Master Plumber to diagnose issues in plumbing systems, discuss them with the homeowners, and make the agreed-upon repairs and/or installations. Requirements
A typical day in the life of a Licensed Journeyman Plumber / Master Plumber includes walking in bright and early to a great work environment. The mornings may consist of a little training, getting the schedules for the day, mapping out your service calls, and jumping in your truck for the day. Then its off to the service calls. These calls will specifically be residential service, repair, and drain cleaning. We try to schedule 3 service calls a day to ensure you are not overwhelmed and have a great work-life balance. The day ends at about 3:30pm and you go home happy to return the next day.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION OF A LICENSED JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER / MASTER PLUMBER
Our licensed plumbers start out at $25-$45 per hour. This varies dependent upon experience, Journeyman plumber vs Master plumber, etc. Weekly hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm. We also offer full benefits after 90 days, which include 40 hours of paid vacation during your first year, paid holidays, health insurance, and a retirement savings plan. We are also offering a $1,000 sign on bonus, $250 paid every 90 days you are with us!
QUALIFICATIONS OF A LICENSED JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER / MASTER PLUMBER
Relevant residential plumbing experience (service, repair, and drain cleaning)
Massachusetts journeyman plumber or master plumber license (Please do not apply without one of these)
Valid Massachusetts driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
