Beautification Day – In Partnership with Franklin Downtown Partnership

Beautification Day, held on Saturday, May 17, brought together residents, volunteers, and local organizations in a collaborative effort to clean, plant, and brighten Franklin’s downtown area. Organized in partnership with the Franklin Downtown Partnership, the event showcased the power of community pride and teamwork. G&C proudly participated as a Platinum Sponsor, supporting the initiative to enhance the town’s charm and vitality.

Strawberry Stroll – June 13

The annual Strawberry Stroll, happening on June 13, is a beloved community festival that draws thousands of visitors from Franklin and surrounding towns. This lively summer tradition offers a perfect blend of local vendors, live music, delicious food, and—of course—plenty of strawberries. It’s a cherished event that fosters community spirit and gives businesses a meaningful opportunity to connect with their neighbors. Fur Ball 2025 (BayPath Humane Society Event)

Fur Ball 2025 is BayPath Humane Society’s premier fundraising gala, uniting animal lovers, advocates, and community members for a night of celebration and compassion. This elegant event supports BayPath’s mission to care for homeless and at-risk animals by raising critical funds for shelter services and community outreach programs. In 2025, the Fur Ball raised over $100,000, directly benefiting the medical care, nourishment, and placement of animals in loving homes. The success of this event underscores the community’s dedication to protecting and uplifting the lives of animals in need.

Harvest Festival – Coming This September

Franklin 4th of July Celebration – Franklin July 4th Coalition

The Franklin July 4th Celebration is a beloved annual tradition, made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Franklin July 4th Coalition—a group of passionate community volunteers. With a mission to preserve and enhance the town’s Independence Day festivities, the coalition organizes a week of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, a vibrant carnival, and a spectacular fireworks display. This celebration not only honors American heritage but also strengthens community spirit and pride in Franklin.

Bellingham Police Youth Summer Camp

The Bellingham Police Youth Summer Camp offers a dynamic and enriching experience for local youth, fostering positive relationships between young residents and law enforcement. Through a variety of hands-on activities, interactive safety demonstrations, and team-building challenges, campers gain valuable life skills and a deeper understanding of public safety. This week-long program promotes confidence, cooperation, and community engagement in a fun, supportive environment led by dedicated Bellingham police officers.

Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton

Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is a nonprofit animal shelter in Massachusetts dedicated to caring for and rehoming stray or unwanted pets. Founded in 1977, it offers adoption services, rehoming support, and special programs like the Shadow Cat Program. The organization is currently raising funds to build a new, expanded facility to better serve animals and the community.

Franklin Food Pantry

The Franklin Food Pantry is a nonprofit in Franklin, MA, providing food and essential resources to over 1,800 people each year. Through programs like curbside pickup, home delivery, and kids’ snack bags, it addresses food insecurity while connecting clients to broader support services. The Pantry operates without town funding and relies on donations and volunteers to sustain its mission.

Franklin Girls Softball

The Franklin Girls Softball Association provides girls 4 to 18 years old instruction, competition and fun playing fastpitch softball. We are committed to providing a positive softball environment for all of our players and to cultivating our players’ love of the game by teaching them the game of softball (both skills and rules), and to honor the game and its participants (players, coaches, umpires and parents/guardians).

Franklin Youth Baseball

Franklin Youth Baseball (FYBO) is a volunteer-run nonprofit in Franklin, MA, offering baseball programs for kids ages 7–15. With divisions for all skill levels—including a Challenger League for players with special needs—FYBO promotes skill-building, teamwork, and community values through youth sports.

Bellingham Youth Baseball

Bellingham Youth Baseball strives to create a safe, welcoming, and fun atmosphere for baseball players of all ages.

Bellingham Girls Softball

The Bellingham Girls Softball Association is a nonprofit in Bellingham, MA, offering softball programs for girls PreK–12. They provide leagues, travel teams, training clinics, and host the annual Bellingham Bash tournament, all run by dedicated volunteers.

Ryan Young Memorial Fund

Bellingham Police Stuff A Cruiser

The Bellingham Police Department’s annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” event collects food and toys at Whole Foods to support local families during the holidays. Donations benefit “Operation Old Red Suit,” a program helping families in need, with a festive community atmosphere for all ages.

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit supporting post-9/11 veterans with physical or mental injuries. They provide free programs like mental health care, career counseling, and wellness services to help veterans and their families adjust to civilian life.
